Installation of a WolkyTolky Asparagus
The WolkyTolky Asparagus setup was developed in collaboration with asparagus growers to measure the temperature within the asparagus ridge.
The sensors in this WolkyTolky measure the temperature at four different depths within the asparagus ridge.
The WolkyTolky Asparagus also offers the possibility to set temperature thresholds. If these are exceeded, the grower receives an alert on their phone.
Expandable to a full weather/measurement station
The WolkyTolky Asparagus can be expanded into a full weather and measurement station. Any desired sensor can be connected to the WolkyTolky.
Not only standard weather data such as temperature, precipitation, and wind can be measured. For example, sensors that measure soil EC values, barometric pressure, relative humidity, solar radiation, or UV radiation can also be connected.
